Al2O3/Al2O3-ZrO2(3Y)层状纳米陶瓷复合材料的显微结构及弯曲强度

摘要:

在Al2O3-ZrO2(3Y,即含3%Y2O3,摩尔分数, 下同)纳米陶瓷的基础上,以原位合成的Al2O3和Al2O3-ZrO2(3Y)纳米粉体为原料,采用干压成型及热压烧结的方法制备了Al2O3/Al2O3-ZrO2(3Y)层状纳米陶瓷复合材料,研究了ZrO2(3Y)含量对材料显微结构及力学性能的影响。结果表明:复合材料由纳米/微米晶复合结构组成,层状结构明显,层间界面清晰,这种结构使材料具有非常高的弯曲强度。层状复合材料的弯曲强度均高于单层Al2O3陶瓷,且随ZrO2(3Y)含量的增大而先增大后减小,当ZrO2(3Y)的质量分数为10%时,Al2O3/Al2O3-ZrO2(3Y)层状复合材料的弯曲强度达到最大,可达591 MPa,是单层Al2O3陶瓷的1.8倍。

Al2O3/Al2O3-ZrO2(3Y) laminated nanocomposites were prepared by dry-pressing and hot-press sintering using nano-sized Al2O3 and Al2O3-ZrO2(3Y) powders. The effects of ZrO2(3Y) content on the microstructure and mechanical property of Al2O3/Al2O3- ZrO2(3Y) laminated nanocomposites were studied. The results show that the Al2O3/Al2O3-ZrO2(3Y) laminated nanocomposites have obvious layered structure with a distinct boundary, which leads to they have very high bending strength. The highest bending strength of 591 MPa can be achieved for the Al2O3/Al2O3-ZrO2(3Y) laminated nanocomposites with a ZrO2(3Y) mass fraction of 10%, which is 1.8 times larger than the single-layer Al2O3 ceramics.
